| A graduate
of the State University of New York at Buffalo, Dr. Feldman
earned his Doctor of
Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Feldman
is a Diplomate
of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, a table
trainer for the Upledger Institute for Workshops in CrainioSacral
Therapy,
and assistant trainer in the Feldenkrais® Method.
Dr. Feldman has been in practice for 25 years, working in
New York, Massachusetts, California and here in New Jersey
for
10 years. In addition to chiropractic, he has taken special
training in the Feldenkrais® Method of movement education
as well as in CranioSacral Therapy. Besides treating pain
and injury, he specializes in head injuries, TMJ, chronic
pain,
movement dysfunction, learning disabilities, and improving
performance in the arts and sports.
A fine artist working in pastels and charcoal, he is also
an avid golfer and sports enthusiast as well as a practitioner
of Tai-Chi Chuan and QiGong.
Dr. Feldman's approach is different from what most people
expect. Rather then spending just a few minutes with a client
doing
only chiropractic adjustments he spends 30 minutes to an
hour with each person. The combination of chiropractic diagnosis
and treatment; and then moving into CrainioSacral Therapy
and
Feldenkrais® movement learning, helps clients move from
being passive recipients of treatment to becoming active
partners in alleviating pain and improving function and action
in their
life. Dr. Feldman welcomes individual patients as well as
physician referrals.
